Callan Optical Service (COS) is a service provider within CSNU within the Network of Callan Services for Persons with Disabilities. 

Based in the Eastern Highlands province of Papua New Guinea, COS involves directly in delivering primary eye care services. We prescribe reading glasses, distance eye glasses, low vision glasses and bifocal eye glasses through the process of refraction.

As part of our commitment in delivering these services, we also order lenses and frames in bulk, re-process them and supply eye glasses either as ready-made or custom made spectacles depending on clients’ prescriptions and preferences.

We also extend services to schools and communities through our quarterly community screening and awareness programs.
